For Anna, it should have been just another ordinary job. Playing bodyguard to a surly teenager wasn’t exactly fun, but it wasn’t all that unusual either. What was unusual was the way her backup team seemed to desert her just when she needed them most.

Then there was the older brother. A highly feted businessman – rich, personable, and well-known – Kel was justifiably arrogant. He expected nothing but the best when it came to protecting his younger sister and was very clear in expressing his feelings about Anna. Like so many other people, he just didn’t believe she had what it took to do the job.

So why did he suddenly change his mind? And why was he so adamant that it had to be Anna who stayed on with him once his sister was safely out of the country? It simply didn’t make sense, and nor did her growing attraction to a man who was so obviously out of her reach.
